So I am at a cross roads and have little cash to spare.īuy Windows 7 and then Kernal Patch it to use all 8gbs of my ram and then patch my client to use 7gbs of ram?īuy a military grade motherboard from MSI and buy a Quad Core i7 and hope that the fixing of my processor bottleneck will allow the game to run better? I can play any other high end game just fine with hardly any lag but new vegas is built like a straw house.
I have a ****** Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo but my video card is the 295 by nvidia. In vanilla areas things run alright but when I go into areas made by other players like Angel Park I crash constantly. This increased performance greatly however as I began to instal more high end nude meshes and customized nipple textures I found my game slowing down again. I have 8gb of ram with only 3.50gb useable and I have the 3gb enabled New vegas client which means it uses at least 1gb more RAM then the vanilla client. I have several SUPER HD texture mods and all in all my new vegas client folder is about 30gbs.
However you can't run around naked as a heavily pregnant Hispanic woman with the vanilla client. With a vanilla client I can run several of them with max settings just fine. I have a rather decent computer, however due to the **** poor programming skills of the people who made Failout New Vegas I find myself struggling with crashes and lag.
